I have been meaning to try to get some pics of this on the internet, but I haven't had much of a chance. I got sick over the weekend, so I took the opportunity.
Here are some pics that I grabbed from my video camera. They are of Wayne Penrose at valla 2001. It shows what happens if you have a lot of grip and go hitting ripple strips and weird bumps in the track. Yes that's right, you get Wayne Penrose almost rolling his type 4 engined race-car.
This first one is an animated gif. I need some more frames, but it still looks good enough to give you a rough idea of what happened. The car started bouncing from the apex/ripple strip of the left hander, then the car got progressively more unsettled, bounced some more, started sliding while still bouncing and then decided it wanted to go up on 2 wheels.
