ROSCO's MEYERS MANX

I bought it from a friend for a couple of G's. A year earlier I had said to him, "Mate I you ever want to sell that buggy...give 'us a call!?" So as you can imagine, just as all the bills come in, he rings me and says, I'm sell'n the buggy!...I hate that!...

Anyway, I bought it in good condition. It was one of those buy's that looked bad to the layman ie. wheels out of balance, gear selector very sloppy, motor timing very out, blah blah blah.
Didn't take much to get it going good.
Since I have bought it, I have extended the roll bar to go over the passengers heads and down to the foot wells, which has really made the chassis a whole lot stiffer. Its not like the normal roll bars you see, I think it looks much 'sleeker'.
I also heard about a chassis rail that some people do, like a bar that goes around the perimeter of the floor pan.
So I went out and bought some 30mm rhs, made one up, and welded it to the floor pan. Hopefully the floor pan won't crack at all 4 corners again. It also makes the bug look 'tougher' as the body now sits 30mm higher.

But for now, Its still a 1600 stock motor, which I'd love to do-up, but money's the problem.
                                               ( i wish it would blow-up)
And it could do with a red speckle, paint job...
Have never taken it 4wdriving with my mates. Goes good up the beach though!
